HISTORY AND INTRODUCTION TO FASHION STUDIES II (3 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: identify and explain major art influences and modern art movements; interpret Western art’s influence on the development of modern clothing; and give positive art appreciation and criticism to art and the study of the cultural aspects.
Topics:
This course is a study of the historical and cultural art movements and social issues around the world. To a larger extent, the students will be inspired and have more appreciation of art and be able to make criticisms and judgments on art movements.
