NARRATIVE DIRECTING (8 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Identify various styles of film directing; Explain writer, actor and director perspectives and preferences; Express visual concepts using the elements of mise-en-scene in accordance to its narrative elements; Analyze a film to reflect the director’s vision; Apply advance story structure to a short film script based on reality; Apply basic skills of directing crews and actors to create a narrative form in a short film.
