Learning Outcomes :
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Identify major timeframes, movements and artistic influence in art history; Recognize how both Western and Non-Western art history affects and was affected by the dynamic change of culture we live in; Create strong arguments about the connection between major intellectual and artistic developments; Create artworks inspired by the movements in history; Identify the influence of older visual art forms in film throughout the history of the medium; Translate their knowledge and appreciation of art history into their work as scholars and filmmakers.
