Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Utilize knowledge from film making practice to analyze techniques used in the films studied; Analyze films using knowledge on historical, political, and cultural contexts; Discuss artistic and cultural significance of films studied; Apply different styles and convention of writing criticism.

Topics:

This course requires students to learn how to analyze films in their social aesthetic context and write popular analysis on films in the media.
