BUSINESS RESEARCH (3 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to apply systematic steps in using certain quantitative methods; to solve business, management and financial problems using quantitative analysis; to formulate a model for a certain business problem; and to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of several alternative decision models.
Topics:
The course introduces the concept of business research methods to decision making in management. It is designed to equip students with a sound understanding of the roles of management research in the decision making process. It composes of the application of a wide variety of quantitative tools and techniques to the solutions of real business problems.
