ETHICAL ISSUES IN BUSINESS (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to; identify, explain and analyze theories, concepts related, and issues related to ethics and law in both local and international context; ability to assess the impact of ethics and law issues for individuals and organizations; explain and analyze the roles of ethics, good corporate governance and social responsibility in overall company’s business strategy in both local and international; ability to propose a social impact project that both are innovative and promote sustainability.
Topics:
This course is designed to challenge student with contemporary issues of ethics, morality and social responsibility that confront the Indonesian business community as well as abroad. Issues such as corporate governance, social, and economic concerns in the form of both local and international articles, case studies will be the basis on class discussions and student is expected to be ready and able to propose solution with high social impact outcomes that both are innovative and promote sustainability.
