HISTORY OF INDONESIAN CINEMA (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes :
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: Discuss the cultural-social-political importance of certain filmmakers in Indonesian film history, as well as relevant historical milestones from the Dutch colonial era until the post-1998 era; demonstrate archive-led research practice in the context of Indonesian film history; compare and contrast representations of different cultural and political situations in Indonesian cinema.
