SCRIPTWRITING (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: explain basic storyline structures: three-act, turning point, twist, sub-plot, flashback, etc; discuss story structures in screenplays; explain and apply the basic technique of character development; distinguish tension in stories; demonstrate the ability to write film premise, synopsis and treatment; demonstrate the ability to write a short film script with three acts structure.
