MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS I (4 Credits)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Calculate the probability of events from given problems; Apply the concept of discrete and continuous random variables and their probabilities to solve practical problems; Calculate Joint Densities, Order Statistics and Moment Generating Functions of two or more discrete and continuous random variables; Apply interval between events of Poisson probability and Central Limit Theorem from Normal and Gamma Distribution.
