Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: define atoms, molecules, ions, the structure of atoms and chemical bonding; calculate stoichiometry; energy and heat in chemical reactions problems; explain the physical and chemical properties and changes of gases, liquids, solids and solution; solve chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics laws, kinetics and rates of reactions problems; select the appropriate analytical method (spectrophotometry and chromatography) in the determination of chemical composition analysis.
