ANTHROPOLOGY OF TRAVEL AND TOURISM (2 Credits)

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: define the development and history of anthropology as a science; discuss tourism as a system rather than simply as a process or set of phenomena, tourists have been defined in the academic world, some of the more complex tourists’ motivations, and culture; demonstrate  themes and certain issues that continue to challenge those who study tourism from an anthropological perspective; criticize an article and establish own perspective on the relation between globalization and leisure and tourism.
