Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to analyze company financial statements using information technology tools; evaluate key accounting theories as explanations of business behavior; present and justify a financial analysis to a business group; critically evaluate and report on financial and non-financial information contained in financial reports.
Topics
In this course, students will learn the theory, analysis and interpretation of strategic management decisions relating to governance, corporate social responsibility, and profitability and risk as disclosed in annual reports. The course also provides case studies in comprehensive statement analysis.
Prerequisite : AC318 – Financial Accounting I
