ADVANCED ACCOUNTING I (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
This course prepares students to be able to make consolidated financial reports for external parties. It is an IFRS based course where the students are expected to comprehend, prepare and record issues for multinational companies in terms of issues related to business combination that include the types and levels of business combination, investments for business combination, intercompany transactions, mutual holdings and consolidated financial statements.
Topics:
The course covers business combination, stock investments as related to business combination, consolidated financial statements, issues in intercompany profit, indirect and mutual holdings.
Prerequisite: Financial Accounting II
