Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to evaluate the roles of the Financial System in local and global economy; to explain and interpret the basic knowledge of Capital Market’s operation and analysis tools for financial instruments; to adopt, apply and appraise ethical business practices in capital market; and to illustrate the principles of each instrument and institution in the capital market

1. This course studies the foundation of financial and capital market
2. As capital market becomes an important aspect in the global economy, it would be necessary for students to understand basic knowledge of financial instruments, operation, legal, as well as ethical issues in capital market
3. The course will cover understanding of capital market and its role in the economy, financial instruments and its terminologies, capital market’s operation in Indonesia, as well as legal and ethical issues for financial professionals
4. This course will give students a basic picture of working in capital market
