Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to Explain different financial analysis tools to value and analyse derivatives; to Apply and compare the suitable financial analysis tools used in real problems/cases; and to Apply ethical values in analyzing derivatives investment and risks

Topics

1. This course will discuss differences of financial derivatives products such as forward, future, swap, call and put option
2. It also will introduce Exchange Traded market, Over the Counter market and discuss types of traders, hedgers, speculators and arbitrageurs
3. Mechanics of Futures markets and their indices will also be covered to give an understanding how the derivatives market works
