Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to demonstrate an in-depth and holistic understanding of financial analysis process by analyzing complexities in financial issues and recommending a comprehensive financial management approach to support investment decision-making in capital market area

Topics

1. This compulsory course emphasizes on financial analysis project
2. At the end of the course, students are expected to submit a written final project report
3. The School will assign an academic supervisor to assist students in their final project report based on the students’ own project outline proposal
4. To assess the students’ progress of the final project report writing, each student must present a research proposal in front of a panel of academics after the first few weeks
5. The same panel will then assess the student’s final project presentations at the end
6. Further details on the final project are included in the Thesis Guideline, provided separately
7. Students are also expected to spend most of their independent study time outside the class/campus
8. Periodically, each student is scheduled to meet with the assigned supervisor, to discuss about their work and progress on the project and the written report
9. The students will receive either verbal and/or written feedback from the assigned supervisor
