Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to : Analyze and review the trend in micro and macro economic; Analyze and visualize, critical evaluation on current contemporary economic and organizational issues to develop approaches to complex problem-solving and decision-making in the managerial perspective; Analyze diverse and unstructured real‐world problems and cases using cost‐and benefit analysis and marginal analysis to achieve innovative firm competitive advantage.

Economics for Business is a collection of concepts and methods that help managers make managerial decisions. Creative ideas are a key to success but not sufficient. Thinking like an economist will allow students to capitalize on creativity. By the end of this class, students should be familiar with the basic tools of economics and able to apply them to any number of business situations.
