PLANT TISSUE CULTURE (2 CREDITS)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: LO1 – explain fundamental principles and techniques of plant tissue culture, including aseptic methods and media preparation; LO2 – Identify factors affecting in vitro plant growth and optimize culture conditions for different plant species; LO3 – Understand various plant regeneration methods, such as organogenesis and embryogenesis; LO4 – apply the applications and limitations of plant tissue culture in research, conservation, and commercial production.
