PHYSIOLOGY (2 CREDITS)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: LO1 – describe the principles of animal form and function, including the structural and physiological adaptations that support survival in diverse environments.; LO2 – summarise the physiological processes of animal systems such as nutrition, circulation, gas exchange, osmoregulation, and excretion, and their roles in maintaining homeostasis; LO3 – Explore the functions and interactions of the immune, endocrine, and nervous systems in regulating physiological responses and adaptations.; LO4 – illustrate the underlying mechanism of animal reproduction, development, sensory and motor functions and behavior; LO5 – analyze the coordination of organ systems in maintaining homeostasis and enabling adaptive responses to environmental changes.
