BUSINESS ANALYTICS (2 SCU)

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to apply several methods to collect data; demonstrate how to process data to become useful insights; and formulate data-driven recommendations to make better decisions for business strategies.

Topics:

The use of business analytics has grown tremendously in many areas of industries such as banking, retail, manufacturing, etc. Business analytics is a combination of data analytics and business intelligence. This course provides knowledge and skills to analyze data and make better decisions to solve real business problems. This course will equip the participants to describe, predict, and prescribe business decisions in the specific areas of marketing, finance, human resources, etc.
