BUSINESS ETHICS (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: identify, explain, and analyze theories, related concepts, and related issues to ethics and law in both local and international contexts; assess the impact of ethics and law issues for individuals and organizations; explain and analyze the roles of ethics, good corporate governance, and social responsibility in a company’s overall business strategy in both local and international contexts; and propose a social impact project that is both innovative and promotes sustainability.
Topics:
This course is designed to challenge students with contemporary issues of ethics, morality, and social responsibility that confront the Indonesian business community as well as abroad. Issues such as corporate governance, social matters, and economic concerns in the form of both local and international articles and case studies will be the basis of class discussions. The students are expected to be ready and able to propose solutions with high social impact outcomes that are innovative and promote sustainability.
