PROGRAM EXECUTION FOR COMMUNITY (4 Credits)

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Identify a community with a specific need related to film; Discuss the needs and possible solutions with the local community; Propose a plausible program for the community; Evaluate the sustainability of the program in the community.

Topics:

Through this off-campus course, students will find a community where they can develop a program in order to solve their film-related problems. The programs developed can be ranged from educating the locals, creating a public service announcement (PSA), to building local film communities.
