PRINT MEDIA JOURNALISM (4 SCU)

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: Differentiate printed media journalism with other types of journalism; Apply basic principles of print media journalism; Demonstrate journalistic skill for print media; Develop editorial ability for print media journalism; Develop effective and essentials skills in layout and picture editing for print publication.; Demonstrate effective journalism for print media;

Topics:

The course introduces techniques in media production in order to create effective journalism using words and pictures. This class practices the basic fundamentals of broadcast production, including writing, producing, and editing to create broadcasts for TV program.
