CONTEMPORARY WRITING (2SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: Explain critical, theoretical, and historical literary works; describe observed reality in writing; develop personal and subjective writing skills and styles to express their thoughts and feelings; create fiction and non-fiction writing; as well as review their writings and the writings of others.
Topics:
This course will introduce students to different types of writing from fiction, non-fiction, short stories, and poems. The course also requires students to read contemporary literature and do book reviews.
