ENTERTAINMENT NETWORKING MANAGEMENT (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: Identify different aspects in event management; Select variety strategies in event production; Use different forms of communication skills using new media and technology; Demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills; Practice networking skills with stakeholders in the industries; Prepare creative event ideas with an organized outline.
Topics:
Students will also about event management, networking as well as ethical practice of communication industries. The goal of this course is to prepare students to create events using networking skills with stakeholders. The course is designed to teach students how to identify successful programs within the communication industries. Students are challenged to plan, execute and evaluate successful events in creative and innovative ways.
Prerequisite(s): Introduction to Public Relation and Creative Advertising
