ENTERTAINMENT NETWORKING MANAGEMENT (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: identify different aspects in event management; select a variety of strategies in event production; use different forms of communication skills using new media and technology; demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills; practice networking skills with stakeholders in the industries; and prepare creative event ideas with an organized outline.
Topics:
Students will also learn about event management, networking, as well as the ethical practice of communication industries. The goal of this course is to prepare students to create events using networking skills with stakeholders. The course is designed to teach students how to identify successful programs within the communication industries. Students are challenged to plan, execute, and evaluate successful events in creative and innovative ways.
