Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to explore their thoughts and ideas in writing using new media and technology.  It will help them to describe and develop ideas in different styles of writing. The course introduces students to imaginative writing as both a craft and a form of self-expression; writing as a process; literary forms, styles, and genres; editing; revising; reflecting; writing persuasive and expressive articles.

Topics

This course will introduce students to different types of writing and content production from fiction, nonfiction, short stories and script writing.
