Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: explain key concepts society and digital culture. On this course, student will focus on how technology and culture are connected in today’s society. The course will introduce you to different perspectives on the changing nature of digital developments and how they are reshaping various cultural, socio-political and economic fields that connect to communication fields.
Topics
Student will learn to develop and enhance their awareness and understanding of a range of subjects relevant to digital culture and technology. It will encompass the key information and communication technologies that shape contemporary society; how digital technologies are shaping today’s society, including social intercourse, social structures, government, politics, education and law; as well as the ethical and moral issues that arise from the role and impact of technology in cultural and social life. In classroom discussions, students mainly use cases of society and digital cultures in Indonesia.
