Learning Outcomes
This subject addresses digital information management that are required by every contemporary industry and workplace. Practical, critical and theoretical aspects of digital information management are explored and integrated. The subject introduces information functions and services such as, but not limited to: enterprise content management; records and archives; information systems and processes; and knowledge management. Topics are driven by current professional requirements and include managing digital information; ethical, legal and policy issues; knowledge retention; and access to public information.
Topics
In this course, student will learn about itroduction to internet & digital information; the nature, property and scope of digital information, the types, nature and preservation of digital information; and the digital information resources, management & policies. Student will also learn how to manage digital information for journalism, Public Relations and Entertainment Communication purposes.
