INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes
Build programming algorithms and transform them into executable codes; Produce innovative computing practices using programming logic; Use different programming techniques, in the context of interdependencies of hardware and software systems; Apply the fundamental idea of analyzing problem, dividing a program into components that can be independently debugged, maintained, and reused in designing solution; Able to relate the application of IS in business process concepts to algorithm development and solution’s code.
Topics
This course willdevelop skills in program design and implementation by applying the concepts of computer fundamentals and logic formulation. It also covers the study of the different tools and techniques available in developing computer program logic such as flowcharts and pseudo code. Drones can be used as a support for this course and programmed by group of students to develop their logical skills.
