WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND SECURITY (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to apply basic knowledge of the scripting languages into frontend and backend framework for full stack web development; Identify the different between web architecture model, including load balanced and CDN; implement basic web security for authentication, SSL, tunneling and https protocol; implement basic configuration for web hosting, including CICD concept; Applying latest web technology for solving real life problem.
Topics:
This course is designed to teach the student with basic concept of full stack development for building web application. It introduces students to the concepts and techniques of a dynamic web page construction, web technology, protocols, and its implementation in web framework programming for backend and frontend development. Students will be exposed to development a live web application using common use of web programming framework in the areas of development in a operating systems platform. The study of web development and security also introduces the student with new ways of framework programming and requirement configuration for developing real life web application.
