Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: LO1 – Explain the fundamental principles of XR systems, including the architectural differences between AR and VR, tracking systems, and human perception issues; LO2 – Apply core Mobile AR features using Unity and AR Foundation, covering Plane Detection, Raycasting, Image Tracking, and Session Origin management; LO3 – Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) and interaction mechanisms for touchscreens in a 3D spatial context; LO4 – Analyze application performance bottlenecks and applying optimization techniques for smooth operation on mobile devices.
