Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: explain basic concepts of IT; analyze a problem and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution; identify, define and make use of flowchart as a program logic formulation tool; simulate computer operational logic through expressions and operations, and stress the fundamental idea of dividing a program into components that can be independently debugged, maintained, and reused.
Topics
This course develops skills in program design and implementation by applying the concepts of computer fundamentals and logic formulation. It also covers the study of the different tools and techniques available in developing computer program logic such as flowcharts and pseudocode.
