CREATIVE DESIGN RESEARCH SKILLS (2 SCU)

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to take many forms and can involve desk-based, primary, and generative (research through design) methods; develop and refine capabilities through reflective practice and seeking ways to improve.

Topics:

process of gathering, generating, collating and presentation of visual and textual research in design. You will use appropriate methods to locate relevant sources of research data and apply personal judgement in assessing, interpreting and presenting the findings and using the research to inform design proposals.
