PRODUCT AND SERVICE DEVELOPMENT (8 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to analyze what makes a product/service (digital/non-digital), is being picked by its user, to create a connection between their products and customer pains, to design a product/service prototype, test it, and evaluate it.
Topics:
In this course, student can understand the process of developing a product/service (digital/non-digital) based on the user needs. By applying user-centered-design process, students will be challenged in validating their business idea and developing it by several validations with its prospective users. The applications of this principle, among others, are for designing a new product/service at an established company, developing a product for a startup, or evaluating an existing product/service and improving it.
