ADVANCED DESIGN THINKING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (3 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
Upon the successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to apply, analyze, and evaluate entrepreneurship processes as a design process. Students should be able to apply design thinking in search of business opportunities and in venture creation processes. They should also be able to analyze and critically evaluate the external enablers, opportunity confidence, as well as the new venture ideas that they create through design thinking process.
Topics:
Advanced design thinking and entrepreneurship course includes topics such as introduction to advanced design thinking theories and concepts, human cognition and behaviour processes as well as empathy practices, external enablement concepts, and defining problem statement practices, including advanced prototyping and user testing.
