Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students should be able to: Understand the definition of information value chain, supply chain, value chain, value systems, inter organizational system and business environment based on technology computation-communication (information and communication technology); Explain the definition and development of network system, intranet, internet, extranet, electronic data interchange, E-business, E-commerce, B2B, B2C,sectors in business application based on computation and communication technology and the impact to accounting system and accounting profession; Consider risks assessment, design procedure and internal controls of accounting information system based on computation and communication technology referring to various cases : sales and payment cycle, inventory cycle at retail company and banking; Consider risk potential of accounting information system based on computation and communication technology to quality and reliability of financial statement.
