Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to : engage with a research material, techniques and analytical tools; apply appropriate design skills and produce design solutions; communicate and present creative design solution to professional standards; evaluate own performance and identify personal strengths and needs; effectively demonstrate a range of communication skills within individual and group participation through written, visual, oral, or technological information.

Topics

This course supports the development of graphic research, design and illustration work. It requires experimentation, and exploration through variety of design methods in order to achieved desired output. Students are required to display evidence of creative ideas and the process of development, sources of inspiration, and current trends. The assessment task is given in a form of a presentation of individual project and artwork in a portfolio.

Pre- Requisite : FA422 – Design Research Project.
