FASHION ILLUSTRATION (6 SCU)
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to demonstrate knowledge about contemporary issues in fashion industry, able to apply theoretical concepts and knowledge in fashion design, and able to use appropriate technology in fashion industry
Topics: This course introduces students to basic figure drawing and fashion anatomy, as well as to learn rendering techniques with pencil, marker, water color pencil and digital rendering, and also developing technical drawing skill in relation to the manufacture of fashion clothing. Students are expected to improve their ability to work with visual elements in two dimensions, and practice their adaptation to design disciplines. The development of signature style is introduced in order to build a character and image into the illustration.
