FASHION TEXTILE II (2 SCU)

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: demonstrate fabric manipulation techniques to enhance the details and features of the fabric; explore and experiment with flat and/or additional textures on surface treatment; produce a creative design signature based on a design problem solution; demonstrate a creative and communicative working progress in a portfolio; and apply good time management and planning skills through the project.

Topics:

This course will introduce students to textile exploration and experiments in fabric construction with creative application techniques of texture and construction alterations.
