CREATIVE PATTERN EXPLORATION (4 SCU)

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to apply a variety of sewing and pattern making techniques; able to apply appropriate techniques in producing ready-to-wear fashion while considering aspects of aesthetics, efficiency, and effectiveness; able to apply appropriate techniques of fabric manipulation to enhance details and features of the fabric; and able to develop design concept through practice, exploration, and experimentation. 

Topic: This course aims to build students’ foundation of core skills in design and realisation with a varied challenging projects that will enable students to question, explore, and redefine their 2D and 3D approaches.
