INTRODUCTION TO FILM ART (2 SCU)

Learning Outcomes :

Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to : Explain filmmaking process from idea to exhibition; Explain elements of film form and narrative: Plot, act, characterization; Explain elements of film style: Mise en scene, cinematography, editing, and sound.

Topics :

This is a fundamental film-making course that focuses on film elements and artistic. From discussion and various film screenings, students should be able to combine these elements into unity, in a simple shooting workshop at the end of the semester. This course is followed by Film Artistic.
