DIRECTING II (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes :
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to: Analyse the story’s logic, emotion and motivation; Develop individual directing style; Direct and stimulate actors to perform as naturally as intended by the story; Train actors and explore actors’ emotion; Motivate actors’ performance to enhance film aesthetics; Collaborate with production crews, actors, and production management.
Topics :
This course focuses more on developing stories and shooting plan based on research in students’ surrounding environment. In this course student will learn how to explore and evaluate directing skills further by understanding themselves as a director, story and actor’s performance, as well as being able to manage crew.
Prerequisite : SCRIPTWRITING II, DIRECTING I
