FILM LITERACY (2 SCU)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Identify variety of films based on a number of categories such as genres, geographical origins, historical periods, directors, arthouse or commercial, etc; Identify basic elements in film narratives; Describe relationship between film texts and their social settings; demonstrate basic writing skills for basic film review.
