SCRIPTWRITING (4 Credits)
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Explain basic storyline structures: three-act, turning point, twist, sub-plot, flashback, etc.;
- Discuss story structures in screenplays;
- Explain and apply the basic technique of character development;
- Distinguish tension in stories;
- Demonstrate the ability to write film premise, synopsis and treatment;
- Demonstrate the ability to write a short film script with three acts structure.
