FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND VALUATION (4 SCU)

Learning Outcomes:

Students will critically analyze and evaluate the information contained within financial statements to conduct a business analysis; describe and apply various valuation theories for security valuation; conduct an accounting analysis, a financial analysis, and forecasting; demonstrate critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills in the context of a financial statement analysis; and independently and collaboratively communicate a financial statement analysis and valuation outcomes in a written format.

Topics:

It will cover a business analysis using financial statements; an accounting analysis; a financial analysis; forecasting; and equity valuation.
