By the end this course, the students will be able to: Compare the workings and application of various discrete electronic components; Design a circuit using discrete electronic components; Calculate the parameters (current, voltage etc.) of the circuit that uses discrete electronic components; Explain the workings of discrete electronic components, (diodes, transistors (BJT and FET), and thyristors).
