AN ASEAN COMMUNITY: SECURITY, ECONOMIY AND SOCIETY (4 Credits)
Learning outcomes:
By the end of this course, students shall understand ASEAN community as a form of regional cooperation and integration that rests on three pillars, namely economic, socio-cultural, and security. Students will examine the extent to which ASEAN is really a “community” in terms of security and economic policies. ASEAN’s belated engagement with civil society will also be discussed.
