Quality Engineering (4 Credits)
Learning Outcomes:
Explain quality management concepts such as ISO, TQM, MBQA, Six Sigma, and Quality Cost; Differentiate quality tools (e.g. PDCA, Seven Tools, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), control charts, root cause analysis, FMEA, Kanban) in process improvement; Use statistical quality control technique and related software for data analysis; Propose process improvement utilizing quality tools.
