INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND DESIGN (4 SCU)
Learning Outcomes :
Upon successful completion of this course, students are expected to be able to Use appropriate techniques and tools to construct physical and logical process for existing and new systems, apply appropriate techniques for eliciting user requirements and system expectations, interpret, analyze and apply user requirements in the system design, explain and apply variety of systems development methodologies and techniques, apply techniques of contextual system analysis of the present use of technology.
Topics :
This course provides a foundation of knowledge and skills in contemporary systems development, methods and techniques. In order to make students aware of a range of systems analysis approaches. Topics covers in this course are process modeling and data modeling, a variety of system development approaches tools and techniques using rapid application development, joint application development, and prototyping.
